Gäste sollten ausreichende körperliche Fitness mitbringen! Die meisten Gastgeber wohnen in mehrstöckigen Häusern, einige davon in oberen Stockwerken ohne Lift. Die Programme sind hauptsächlich zu Fuß und ausschließlich mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln (diese sind in Wien gut ausgebaut) gestaltet, es gibt fast überall Stufen. In der Innenstadt und im dicht verbauten Gebiet kann man weder mit dem Auto noch mit einem Bus fahren. Außer der historischen Architektur werden wir gern auch Wien als Zentrum der Musik vorstellen. Auf Wunsch kann auch die Morgenarbeit der Spanischen Hofreitschule besichtigt werden. Die Farewell Party findet üblicherweise in einem "Heurigen" (Weinlokal) statt. Wir empfehlen an einem Freitag/ Samstag anzureisen, um das Wochenende mit den Gastgebern verbringen zu können. Die beste Reisezeit ist von Mitte Mai bis Ende Juni sowie im September. Das Wetter ist dann üblicherweise gut, aber ein Regenschirm sollte trotzdem mit im Gepäck sein.
