General information
Ambassadors need physical fitness! Most hosts live in appartments, some on higher floors in houses without elevators. You come across steps everywhere. Sightseeing includes a lot of walking. In built-up areas you cannot go by car or bus. We use public traffic for the exchange programme. The public traffic is well organized in Vienna. Apart from the historic architecture we will give you an impression of Vienna as the capital of music. You may also attend the training of the SpanishRidingSchool on demand. The farewell party usually takes place in a wine place ("Heuriger"). We recommend to arrive on Friday/Saturday to leave the weekend to the hosts. The best time are the second half of May, June , September. The weather should be fine, but bring an umbrella in case.
